In the heart of downtown Los Angeles next to the illustrious Staples Center lies MG Studio, an event space and showroom designed for Midway Group, an automotive services company dedicated to leasing out some of the world’s most luxurious cars. 

AERO renovated the space in 2015, designing around its exhibit-like showrooms to add clarity to the existing open and flexible floor plan. Bisected by a center mezzanine, the showrooms are the centerpoint of the office space. Given this unique design, AERO focused on creating a space where the cars would be highlighted best. 

New lighting, polished concrete floors, painted race car symbols, a new brick wall, and a wooden bow-truss ceiling gave the showroom a fitting street look. AERO added garage doors for the indoor test driving space to ensure easy access and clean exits from the building, and a kitchen to complete Midway Group’s entertaining needs.
