In 2019, AERO COLLECTIVE transformed what was originally one of Inglewood’s first bank buildings into an award-winning coffee shop, Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen Inglewood. Serving as an anchor to the downtown district, AERO paid homage to the building’s historical significance and found a way to preserve and showcase the original bank vault door. 

The space is centered around a communal coffee bar that encourages an energetic experience focused on interaction between baristas and customers. Complete with comfortable seating in an upstairs loft and in downstairs window booths, the double-height space provides exactly what was originally intended—a place for gathering, communal work, and connecting all while enjoying a tasty cup of coffee.
