AERO COLLECTIVE designed this 66-unit apartment building in the Fairfax neighborhood of Los Angeles to serve as a gateway to the eclectic Melrose shopping district. Situated at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Melrose Avenue, the project consists of a mix of studios and one-bedroom apartments positioned for young professionals drawn to the area’s local restaurants, bars and shops. Replacing an abandoned gas station, the building offers a number of amenities for the residents: a gym, community room, courtyard, and a roof deck with BBQ.

While the building is 100% residential, it does offer a number of live/work units on the ground floor with direct access to the street. Parking is provided in a subterranean garage.
